Hi! My name is Janvier 👋
I'm a software engineer and entrepreneur in Kigali, Rwanda. I build products end to end, from the enterprise systems that keep telecoms running to the apps people use every day.
About Me
I'm a software engineer with more than a decade of experience across development, DevOps and IT security. I studied Information Technology Security at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, then worked in the US and Rwanda on healthcare data tools, conservation IT, and platforms for social-impact organisations.
Today I run my own products and consult for businesses through DuoTech. I also work on enterprise BSS systems for telecom, including MTN Rwanda's ZSmart stack, covering database schemas, UI flows and system integration architecture. By day I'm a Senior Support Engineer on a DevOps team, keeping servers, services and deployments healthy.
I like work that sits between systems and people: reliable infrastructure underneath, simple software on top.
